Close-up Wedding Portraits
Yea yea, I know you want natural looking candid wedding photographs and you will get them but trust me you’ll definitely appreciate some couple portraits too.
When I say appreciate, I’m understating, you’ll absolutely love the couple shots. Magazine style portraits that will make the two of you look super cool. There will be a variety of couple portraits, from far away shots to close-up portraits and the approach is the same with all of them to make them as comfortable as possible. I’m not going to do anything that makes you feel daft, awkward or uncomfortable. The whole process is incredibly natural. I’ll take you away from the rest of the wedding party so that you don’t feel self-conscious about your guests watching you have your picture taken and then we’ll just get in to it. I might give you a bit of direction, nothing major but a few pointers to help you look your best.
Actually all of my brides and grooms have enjoyed the couple shoot and I try and keep this session as short as possible because you’ll want to spend time having fun with your guests. Once you get the edited images back, you’ll be so pleased about your couple session, in addition to enjoying the experience you’ll fall in love with the photographs. Your wedding is your chance to feel completely special for the day. You’ll be on cloud nine, you won’t stop smiling and you’ll look stunning so make what better way to exploit this than by looking cool for the camera.
I’m good at capturing the natural moments of the wedding as they happen, photojournalism, reportage wedding photography or whatever the current buzzword is for this type of photography. It might be skill or just experience or it could just be luck, after all, I do take literally thousands of pictures during a wedding. Whatever, despite the fact that you’ll get loads and loads of natural looking shots one of my specialisms is actually the couple portraits and when I’m doing this I’m going to get some lovely close ups shots that will hopefully make you go wow.
