Stylish Wedding Photographs at Coombe Lodge
Check it out. This wedding photographed at Coombe Lodge (near Bristol). The venue is splendid, the couple were immaculate and super relaxed and the day was pretty bloody lovely.
As always the day started by me photographing the bride and groom getting ready in their respective locations. The groom was at home with his groomsmen and one hell of a cool French Bulldog. The bride got ready at the wedding venue with her family and bridesmaids at hand to help her enjoy her final morning as a Miss.
The boys looked pretty dapper in their cool suits and the bridesmaids looked great and yep the bride looks knock-out. And then of course you’ve got the grounds of this lovely venue and all it’s beautiful Britishness. The only disappointment could have been that we couldn’t use more of the grounds for our couple portraits but it really didn’t matter. It started raining after the wedding breakfast which meant that we needed to be more creative with the bride and groom portraits but we managed to get some absolutely stunning shots with Fran and Joe sheltering on the steps and under cover on the terrace. I got soaked but it doesn’t matter because it was worth it.
When it comes to rain I really do think that this couple got lucky, because despite it raining a little it really din’t interfere with the day too much and for a July 2017 wedding they got lucky as hell – this was possibly the wettest July I’ve ever experienced, as you’ll see in some of my future blog posts.
So, with the preamble out of the way I’ll let the photographs do the talking. Once you’ve had a look through these pictures, ‘m sure you’ll agree that Fran and Joe had a truly fantastic wedding.
